Workgroup sub-accounts |
A Workgroup sub-account is essentially a distinct set of login credentials to the same account as its parent, allowing each user to access the same information. |
Workgroup sub-accounts are ideal if you need multiple logins to the same account, but data security between the administrator and sub-accounts is not an issue. In the event of employee turnover, sub-account login credentials are easily deleted - ensuring that only people who should access your files can. |
Independent sub-accounts |
Independent sub-accounts are free-standing accounts that can be managed by an administrator but do not have access to any objects in the parent account, unless those files or folders are being shared with them through the sharing process. |
Independent sub-accounts are ideal if you need storage, access, or protection for multiple different users, but would like to maintain separate storage space between administrator and sub-accounts. Perfect for managing data across different divisions of your business. |
